We arrive in Barcelona, Spain, and spend a day and a night there before beginning the cruise (includes one full breakfast, sightseeing, and a visit to the Picasso Museum –all included in the cost of the Azamara cruise).
The 11-day Azamara cruise will be in the cabin of your choice (interior category $3589 per person), (ocean view category $3989 per person), or (veranda category $4749 per person) — air is not included.
This is a club cruise and will include all meals; wine at lunch & dinner; entertainment each evening; bottled water, soft drinks, specialty coffees and teas throughout the day; gratuities for housekeeping, bar and dining staff; complimentary self-service laundry; complimentary shuttle service to and from many ports. The trip includes two private shore excursions: one excursion to the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Sicily and one shore excursion in Valletta, Malta. (Many additional Azamara excursions will be available at 50% off).
The trip will be escorted by Gail Rodenhauser of Brownell Travel, accompanied by Carolyn Faraci of the Huntsville Museum of Art. At the end of the cruise, travelers may elect to return to Huntsville or enjoy another 3 days in Rome for an additional $760 per person (includes hotel, full breakfast each day, and some private guided tours ).
