This is the time of year when we ask you to make a gift to the Huntsville Museum of Art, a donation in addition to your membership dues. Because so many of you do make a gift to the Annual Giving Campaign, we are able to maintain and operate this wonderful center for the arts. As you know, HMA relies on your contribution to Annual Giving to provide needed operating revenue not met through membership dues.
Your commitment to the Museum continues to foster a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Art education plays a critical role at the museum, notably through HMA’s Museum Academy, which offers affordable art classes for all ages – preschoolers, teens and adults – year round. Continued support from our members also affords us the opportunity to initiate new programs, like the Voices of Our Times lecture series. This program brings notable authors and artists here to the Museum to share stories of their lives, up close and personal.
Your contribution to our Annual Giving will, of course, be included and recognized in your cumulative giving amount for the year. Your donation is a fully tax deductible gift over and above your membership and helps defray the costs of operation. Now more than ever, HMA needs you. Please remember, no gift is too small.
Please accept my heartfelt thanks in advance for your generosity. I noted this before but it merits repeating – with your help, this fine museum, in the heart of the great city of Huntsville, the pride of Alabama, is ready to rise to still greater heights.
Warmest regards,
Christopher J. Madkour
Executive Director
