Get Involved!

Volunteering is a great way to invest your time in a worthwhile activity, to meet people who share your interests and learn about art and museums. Volunteers enhance our guests' visits and provide valuable support to the museum staff. Volunteers also play an important role in the museum's education mission and can continue to update their knowledge through training programs, lectures and from each other.

No prior museum experience is expected. Training will be provided for all volunteers in departments throughout the museum.

Choose any of the volunteer positions listed, and get involved in the museum. You are guaranteed to have some fun and meet new people. Your volunteer effort can be as little as a few hours a month. So, be a part of the fun, the fellowship, the education, and the fine arts while supporting an important institution in our community.

What You Can Do

Administrative Support - Typing, filing, answering the phone, labeling, mailing, etc. All these are vitally important to the operation of the Museum.

Museum Shop Support - Museum Shop volunteers are needed to provide general assistance to the customers.

Greeting and Membership - Greet and assist visitors as they enter the Museum.

Special Projects and Events - Art After Hours, exhibition openings, lecturers, and films are examples of events that cannot happen without the support of volunteers.

Special talents - Tell us about special talents that you have that could be an asset to the museum.

For more information or to join the Volunteer Email List, please contact volunteer coordinator,
